In May 2008, she graduated from Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida with an A.A. in Liberal Arts.
Sandra loves to travel to learn about different cultures. She has cultivated a love for foreign languages, which is now almost to the point of addiction. As a result, she fluently speaks English, French, Lingala, and Spanish. She still remembers some German, and some Amharic, and she is currently learning Japanese. She plans on adding Italian, Portuguese and Greek to this already impressive repertoire, for her career as an international interior designer.

Sandra has many hobbies. She loves all forms of art, such as drawing, painting, playing the guitar or piano.

Extended Family
Most of her siblings have their own families. But make no mistake about it, she too has a family of her own: Her closest friends.
Sandra currently lives in Tampa with her "wonderful roommate Montrese Lewis" who instantly became "like a sister" when she moved there in October 2003. In November 2007, Montrese prepared a Southern U.S. Thanksgiving meal. It was Sandra's first, and they both enjoyed it.
Then there's her best friend. Petula Kombo-Yaya is the daughter of the Foreign Affairs Minister Dieudonné Kombo-Yaya of the Central African Republic. They met in Addis Abeba at Lycee Guebre Mariam, and have been friends ever since. Their friendship has lasted for almost two decades now, despite being on separate continents, and completely different time zones.
